Keep kiddos entertained with obstacle courses! See our tips
Creating an obstacle course is an exciting way to get kids active regardless of the weather or environment. Whether you are planning an activity in your garden, in the woods, or at home.
In the woods: Adventure in the trees
Creating an obstacle course in the forest can be a great adventure for children. The forest offers plenty of natural materials, surfaces, and space to develop children's imagination and motor skills. Use natural elements that can serve as obstacles. This can be anything from fallen logs, broken branches, and streams to large rocks. First, make sure that all-natural elements are stable and safe for children's play, and then prepare a path that combines different activities such as climbing, jumping, and crawling. For example, you can make a slalom out of stones, a jumping ladder out of branches, or a beam out of logs and finish it off with a duel of throwing a cone at a tree. Children will have fun while developing their physical abilities through play.
Until what age can we use MUFFIK?
This is quite a common question from our customers. And I will answer it today.
I recently participated in an internet discussion in which a mom was offering MUFFIK orthopedic mats for sale. Purely out of curiosity, I contacted her in a private message and asked why she was selling MUFFIK.
„My daughter has had them since her first steps, and now she is big, in first grade, and has no problems with her feet or posture."
How do we process waste mats in MUFFIK?
In today's world, with an increased focus on protecting our planet and sustainability, it is important to consider every aspect of our lives and businesses. While it may seem that plastics production and ecology do not go hand in hand, there are ways to bring the two worlds together harmoniously. At our company, which specializes in the production of MUFFIK orthopedic mats, we have taken this challenge seriously and strive to make our production as environmentally friendly as possible. That is why our MUFFIK orthopedic mats are fully recyclable, and their production is waste-free.
Movement games to play at home
Do you want your children to develop properly and healthily? Do you wonder how to playfully support their movement skills and, at the same time, strengthen their coordination skills?
Games for children's physical development are not just fun. They are the key to opening the door to a world where joy and learning, health and development, and play and knowledge are combined.
If you are interested in your children's proper motor development, remember that each little body is like a unique orchestra, where every muscle plays its irreplaceable role. For this orchestra to play in perfect harmony, it needs the right conductor—and that could be you. Use movement games and aids to support your children's coordination skills and abilities.
Contrasting colours for baby's development: How to choose toys and accessories?
Hidden risks of sedentary work
Sitting in front of the computer for long periods is not good for our health, especially if we do not compensate for the time spent sitting with physical activity. Health problems ranging from aching backs and swollen legs to varicose veins and overweight to cardiovascular disease are never far behind.
According to the World Health Organization, sedentary work is considered the fourth biggest "killer" of the adult population. According to studies, someone who sits for more than six hours a day for long periods is up to 40% more likely to die sooner than someone who sits at work for three hours a day.
Few people realize how dangerous sedentary work can be and what it can do for our health.
Regeneration of the legs and the whole body after sports
We are taking part in the Spielwarenmesse toy exhibition in Nürnberg 30. Jan - 3. Feb 2024!
This is the third time we will visit this global exhibition and we are sure that it will be as successful as in previous years! For this year, we have even received support from the EU, which we very much appreciate. Are you an entrepreneur? Do you want to sell our products? Do not hesitate to write to us and arrange a personal meeting at the exhibition!
What are fine motor skills, and how do we practice them
Fine motor skills and their practice are an important aspect of children's development. It allows you to use and control the small muscles of your hands and fingers, which is essential for everyday activities such as writing, drawing, or pinning buttons. Exercises for developing fine motor skills must be fun and motivating for children. Overall, fine motor skills training is crucial for developing important skills in children, including speech.
32. MUFFIK IN BLACK AND WHITE OR BLACK ON WHITE?
The eyesight of the baby is very imperfect after birth, so it is necessary to offer the right stimulation for its development. For this reason, a unique set that is composed of contrasting colours – red, white and black – was created in cooperation with Tereza Paverová – the founder of the Černá na bílé brand (Black on White in English). These colours are so important for the eyes of the newborns.
In addition to the perfect development of perception and motor skills, this orthopedic set develops vision, the ability to concentrate and stimulates curiosity. Vision goes hand in hand with the development of a baby's motor skills because if their eyesight is poor, the baby wouldn't see the toy and wouldn't even think to move or turn anywhere. Everything is related.
31. ON THE BALCONY WITH MUFFIK!
It's finally getting warmer outside and we all want stable weather. But diseases don't want to leave most of us, but we know very well how important fresh air is and especially the sun rays that charge us with energy.
We, the residents of apartment buildings with balconies, can air Muffik in this way and massage the feet while hanging clothes (I love the smell of fresh clothes!), while drinking coffee with friends or family or playing board or card games.
30. BEFORE DANDELIONS BLOOM
The weather is really messing with us, which is not only reflected in the health of children, but also adults. Instead of enjoying the spring meadow, the softness of the grass barefoot and practicing the knowledge of the first spring flowers, we roll in the blankets with snots at our noses.
How about stopping thinking about when the real spring begins and creating a proper spring meadow right in the middle of the room? The Muffik Team excelled again and a few weeks ago set off into the world with an amazing limited edition of a soft yellow meadow which looks like a blooming field of dandelions.
